Melissa & Jeff Engagement

A few weeks ago I travelled to NJ for a really fun engagement session in Wildwood NJ.  The beaches there were so much fun! There are not many beaches that I have gone to in the past couple of years that were this nice and clean.

Melissa and Jeff wanted their engagement images to be a reflection of who they are.  

I love this summery feel.

At the beginning of the sessions I always try to do some standard posing to loosen the couple up.

Then we get more and more adventurous as the session moves forward.

Here is my old school coloring that is really becoming popular.

The love is so immense that it is bursting!

We had to draw their initials several times to get it just right.  We tried to do it in the wet sand and it kept washing away... 

I love this carefree look.

This is how we started out - nice and dry... then the waves came in and they got wet - so we just went with it!

Melissa's father referenced this photo as something from the movie "From Here To Eternity"...

And of course if she was going to be in the water - we had to get the mermaid look for her!

How fun!  I smiled and laughed so much during this session.  It was certainly worth the trip.

Thank you Melissa & Jeff for allowing me to capture your very true love for eachother.  My hubby and I stayed a bit longer in Wildwood and walked the very nice boardwalk!

I look forward to working with you and the families in your upcoming wedding.
