Family portraits are special.  I aim to capture the essence of a family.  The day of this particular session, it poured down rain!  We waited, and waited - and it finally cleared for us to take some traditional and unique family portraits at Fort Smallwood Park here in Pasadena.  Denise contacted me a few weeks prior with her ideas for the family and each couple and we even included the two cute doggies ~ Bell and Banzai for a couple of the images.

Right off of the bat - the family was all smiles.  I love it when you can feel the happiness!
























I wanted to try something different for this family session - so I played in photoshop with some really cool textures!









And again here with some different colorings and textures...




This one was one of my favorites!





Here is my interpretation of an awesome summer day!
