Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

A couple of weeks ago I photographed Kristen and Kurt - who had their wedding and reception at the lovely Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, located right over the bay bridge. The day was beautiful and there was NO traffic heading over the bay bridge that morning! How lucky!
The theme was to have a beach like setting - how lucky of me to have found these two lovely starfish for their rings.
That first kiss as husband and wife is always a tear jerker for me. Kristen and Kurt embraced and kissed with such LOVE! Everyone could feel it!
Kurt and Kristen are overjoyed! I did my usual hustle backward (i swear it needs to become a sport) to capture this wonderful image.
Backlit in the bridal suite ~ it is really neat, the window actually views into the ceremony area. Some of the guests stayed behind to start their cocktail hour at the bar on the deck.
This image was taken right off of the deck where the ceremony was. Kristen looks so radiant while Kurt whispers something sweet in her ear.
Kristen's bridal party was just so sweet and I must say - what a beautiful bunch!
I love it when my brides are up for anything! We got some wonderful beach images during a break in the reception. We were trying to achieve a sunset image, but the clouds did not want to cooperate. Instead, we got some really nice sky coloring!
WE had to shoo away the kiddies for this HOT scene
Kristen was strutting her beautiful self down the beach! We told her to work it like she was on a catwalk.
I tried not to light this one too much since it was a night scene. I used a Frezzi Video Light to set the mood.
The moon is right above Kristen's head.
They were ROCKING OUT!
I LOVE getting these images - where someone is taking a picture and at just the right moment, I capture the flash.
Their reception was JUMPING from the start - I love the electric blue line that encompassed the alcoves in the ceiling.
They even chartered a PARTY bus to take them to the After party around town...

Love your photography! I agree with Sandra that the image including you, the photographer, is unique and makes the viewer feel they are actually there. Also, I have posted a story about wedding photography on my blog and featured your work. Keep up the great work!
